night on the trail. this is a live look from new york where clinton will be voting any minute now. and check this out...democratic vice-presidential candidate tim kaine is up early to cast his vote. kaine filled out his ballot about an hour ago at a polling station in richmond, virginia. our entire team is monitoring the very latest on today's historic election..all morning long. all eyes are on the presidential race, but we have some big races on the ballot we'll have the latest on the race for u-s senate..and some important measures that voters will decide on. but, we want to kick things off with 13 first alert meteorologist greg bennett...he

19-86. again... we are going to keep an eye on the action here. as soon as we see lines start to form, we will bring you those live images. reporting live parker collins thirteen action news. law enforcement in new york city isn't taking this election lightly...security is very tight in the city this morning. it's the first time in over 70- years both major-party nominees will be in new york n night. police say their deployment plan is comparable to new year's eve. they're working around the clock to monitor terrorist threats, but so far nothing credible has come up. the nypd says they've worked with the secret service to come up with their plans. metro is also preparing for election day. police say polling places will they will also have their eye on the ballots.

diana eldridge faced a judge for the first time yesterday. she faces one count of murder and two counts of child neglect . her next court appearance is set for january. new developments out of south carolina.. the suspect behind a horrific kidnapping..has lead police to more bodies buried on his property. todd kohlepp has led investigators to a third body
